Yesterday in Tampa Florida Paul Little (AKA Max hardcore) was convicted on 10 federal counts of distributing obscene material over the internet and through the mail plus 10 other related charges. Ok first off myeastky.com does not like/condone what Paul Little produces (gross) but you know what that’s my right, and his right to make/produce these videos/pictures of consenting adults that people wish to pay for and view in the privacy of their own home. What you may think may be obscene may not be to me, and the government should definitely not be allowed to determine that for us. You may not like what Paul little did but you have to look at the big picture, what next? Is our internet going to end up like China’s where the government will force ISP’s to block any website they deem inappropriate? Thanks but no thanks!

I’m sure that people may like the idea of a censored internet to help protect the kids from age inappropriate material. But you know what there has already been a wonderful invention that’s been around for awhile now. Know what it is? Supervision. Now my little girl has very little experience on the net (heck she does not even know what the internet is) mostly nick jr and Disney games, but each and every time she has been online I have been over her shoulder supervising and I can guarantee that it will be that way for a long time coming.

One last thing is there not better things to be spending our tax dollars on? And if I am not mistaken didn’t Larry Flynt already fight this battle in 1976? And yet we are here again in 2008 repeating ourselves.
